Overscheduled Tired Boy
Yes, Landon, I understand you're tired. Yes, Landon, biggest brother got too rough with you (after you kicked him). I do understand. I'm wiped out too. Can you make it just a little longer. Yes, we're getting in the van now to go home. Fast forward two minutes: zzzzzzzzzz, transfer sleepinh boy from van to couch, then have to wake sleepy boy only 45 minutes to get him showered for a church event. More grumpiness ensues. Yes, he is the tired, overscheduled boy.
=======================================
*9:00am game - Liam (drama filled game in which we tied, only after the other league demanded we go another inning since the game following ours was cancelled, thus breaking the 2 hour time limit. Played another inning and still ended the game in a tie.)
*10:00am - Missed the funeral of a dear lady, Jean, from our church :( She passed away at the age of 96 and will be treasured in the hearts of anyone who had the privilege of knowing her. I hope she understands why I couldn't be there if she's looking down on her service. I'm pretty sure she understands the stage of life we're in right now.
*11:00am game & snack parent - Landon
*12:30PM game - Loren (at a different location. The Major Giants were playing a practice game against the Juniors!)
*2:30-4:00PM - celebrated with cupcakes at the field for a teammates birthday while the children rolled down a steep hill over and over again and played a bit of soccer. Joy!
*5:15-8:00 - Headed over to church for a BBQ dinner/live dessert auction fundraiser to help send our church youth to camp.
Once the kids are in bed, we watch The Black Swan. I put toothpicks in my eyelids to try to catch the end of the movie. zzzzzzzzzz
