Clock On

I must admit, I do like pictures or objects with a story.

Above is a clock.
It's a mantlepiece clock.
It probably looks like any other old fashioned mantlepiece clock.
But it's not.

This clock was a prize, a football related prize.
My Father-in-Law won it, for winning the league I think, over sixty years ago.
He was a bit of a footballer, more specifically a junior footballer, back in the day and I've blogged about the back-story before, so won't repeat it all here.
