Rare bird

This unusual bird was spotted in the garden today.

As I don't have an 'Observer's book of garden birds' I couldn't look it up.

(I realise that I should have cleaned the patio table before taking the shot but of course that may have frightened the little bird away!)

Thanks to all for making Schnozzle-cat hit the Spotlight yesterday, hopefully she won't let the adoration and fame go to her head.
