Holiday prep

Nice of the weather to join in and start the acclimatising from balmy sunny days to Donegal precipitation. Hard to believe I got sunburn on my neck yesterday.

Not that I've minded the grey day, it's been easier on the eye as I've viewed the world through jaded spectacles. When will I learn that the one last bottle of wine is not a good idea? Probably never if I'm honest. And it was worth it. It's been far too long since we've had a good old fashioned GNO and it was a pure riotous giggle. (Some of them are lurkers so I shall sneak in a little thank you. And once you're settled and ready for a trip we'll have another one for you Soob.)

Have that slightly overwhelmed feeling that so often accompanies the day before a holiday. My mantra today has an 'it will all be alright' theme.

Tonight is packing, packing, packing with no excuses, not even a note from my mom.
