Wild West

Out on my bike today, I didn't take a map. Somehow I ended up in the wild west, must've taken a wrong turning.

Anyway got back on track and after a brief stop for lunch in Bruntsfield, I continued into town and passed a Polar Bear standing beside Greyfriar's Bobby. Yes you read it right, a Polar Bear*. I thought about getting my camera out but a crowd of lensmen had already beaten me to it. I'm just waiting for it to appear on here - surely there was a Blipper amongst them? It was certainly drawing the crowds and slowing the traffic. I know the Zoo are having difficulties but this is perhaps taking it a bit far.







*Much as the woman in one of the passing cars thought and wanted it to be real, it wasn't.

"Is it real?" she asked me.
"Do you think it's real?" I replied condescendingly.
"It looks real." she giggled whilst grabbing her iphone.
