Don Johnson eyes

My wife was a Don Johnson fan and probably still is as she refuses to throw away this useless, 25-year-old cushion. But now looking at the two pairs of eyes, I know why the dog gets more TLC than I do. Perhaps the time has come to buy a kennel and insist the dog is kept appropriate to the species i.e. outdoors!

This evening the usual ritual. Flash collects/steals a dried bead roll meant for the horses, takes up position on the sofa and protects his bread roll until we go to bed. It could just be that the cats might eat it. We are lucky that my wife's colleagues at work give her their old stale bread. A useful treat for the horses & dog, even if not the most nutritious. Although he will eat the bread rolls, they often lie around for days

A few days ago Hazyland wrote that her BC "Beat" is not keen on food. I read somewhere that BCs are not great eaters and Flash testifies to this. We often have to threaten him to eat his daily wet food by putting the bowl outside & calling the chickens. He has a bowl of dried food always full but seldom eats it. Even the dried cat food which he does like is in a bowl on the floor but he doesn't touch it except for any bits that the cats push out of the bowl - these he eats with great joy!
