Poppies in the Rain

These are the same poppies I've been blipping for a few days now...only more have opened and it was raining on them today. They are huge and when you drive down the street you see them from quite a distance!

Hump day was rainy and rather chilly. I called a friend who used to drive bus with me and we had lunch together and then did a bit of treat shopping for our dogs. We found some little silly doggie dixie cups of yogurt ice cream for them and them got some half bones at the meat shop. Cowboy and Sadie were delighted to be treated so royally.

Gander's radio show last night was fun and he had a grouping of songs dedicated to Boy Dylan who had just turned 70! And the baseball team won today so smiles all around.
