Perspective

A wee while ago while sat in my office working Mrs Waller came to see me (bother me) and I had to explain a couple of things to her.

Firstly exactly how a fillet weld should be formed and how it should be inspected for defects using eddy current flaw detection.

And secondly the idea of perspective.

I did this by the use of drawings on the back of a piece of work. Today I realised I was carrying these drawings around the office on the back of said work in plain view. Nobody asked the question "why do I have cows drawn on the back of my work?" but it probably didn't give out the most professional appearance!

"Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These are very small ... while those are far away."
