Chinese spending power

My friends from china came to visit the us, and after spending one day with them so far i cant not understand why their main activities as Chinese tourist are 95% shopping, followed by dining. Did you know a Chinese tourist spends an average of $6,000 USD in the United States? Yep, according to the US Department of Commerce. Business owners are all about smiles upon the arrival of Chinese tourists.
