Your wish is my command...

Firstly, any thought police viewing this photo should read the final paragraph, anyone who isn't a thought police person should skip the last paragraph as it will ruin the magic of the story...

So, the weather in Edinburgh today has been grey, followed by a mix of black and white, followed by a french colour called gris - basically it is as interesting as paint drying viewing in Cleethorpes. I was totally lacking inspiration for a blip today and so opened myself up to the creative folk of twitter by posting the following message;

"I'm needing inspiration for tonight's @blipfoto - first suggestion of Edinburgh based subject and I'll do it"

Unfortunately for me, a certain Dave Loudon was sat bored on a train and responded first with the subject of "Leith Prostitute" - I did try to argue that various legislation had removed the ladies of the night away from Leith and perhaps more importantly Leith isn't technically in Edinburgh but Mr L pushed me into accepting the challenge.

Fortunately, as I was driving at speed along the shore (i.e. in no way can I be described as kerb crawling) I happened to come across (maybe bad choice of words) this young lady who was no doubt enquiring on the way to the nearest clothing store as it clear that the recent wind had blown her clothes right off her frame....

This is the bit for the thought police which doesn't need to be read by the perfectly balanced people who I know.

She is a friend of mine who willingly decided to help out and create the impression of an old fashioned street girl - she is not a prostitute - this is a bit of fun and I am not implying anything sexual by the image so please don't go complaining that this is in poor taste, my twitter feed @rich_dyson is available for anyone to read and you can see that the conversation really did take place - thanks and god bless, praise be to allah, nano nano
