Good Taste

Today the sale of Marmite was banned in Denmark. You fall into one of two camps when it comes to Marmite, you either love it, or you hate it. I come into the latter category.

Now Bovril, well that is more my cup of tea! When out walking in the hills nothing keeps you going like a cup of Bovril. And no football match is complete without a warming cup at half time. The only complaints I get are from the tea drinkers who say that it taints the flask for ever. Separate flasks it has to be.

Of course the Ausssies have their Vegemite. Which is featured in the words of this song written by another son of Saltcoats, Colin Hay of Men At Work fame.
