Gone Shopping

Out this morning to get 4 new trophies for the camera club for the prizegiving on Friday.

Last year the competition format was changed and the prizegiving almost fell into farce.
I sat last night and went through everything and realised that we did not have enough trophies to make it fair for all the sections (beginners, intermiates and advanced).
So I went out and have arranged for 4 new trophies.
Need to tell the Treasurer now.
And arrange for another 8 to be replaced and bring them up to scratch (there is some crap in that lot).

New broom and all that.

Daughter and SWMBO had a meeting with an employment lawyer about the grievance and constructive dismissal thing from work.
Turns out she has a 100% cast iron case against her employers - however, because she has another job to go to her earnings made between starting and the tribunal will basically be taken off any winnings so she could end up working for nothing at the end of the day.
Since the new job is one she really wants and is what she has been looking for for a while I don't think it is worth taking the buggers to court.
Typical of this country ....... justice favours the big companies and the rich even before going into court.
