Jump

Second day of the holiday didn't start too well as we got up at 9:30 and missed breakfast. This followed losing one of the room cards the night before. It was actually Louis who was the first up. He had got up and dressed himself before anyone else got out of bed! The day did improve. Lack of breakfast meant we could try the Turkish bread with cheese filling which is available all day!

The pools are pretty good and the water slides are great. They do break down occasionally, which is just new hotel teething troubles I hope. Alana made a friend (Molly) which is nice to see. She needed a bit of parental introduction though! Louis was a bit left out at first but he too eventually made a friend (Finlay).

I worked out that the air conditioning in the room is wired back to front. So to cool the room you put it on 'heat' and you switch the fan to 'low' to make it blow faster. Initally I thought it must be just our room but it appears not. L now passes this info on to other holiday makers who complain that the air con isn't very effective. You could put this down to a wiring error caused by some rogue electrician but the cynic in me thinks the hotel has done this on purpose in order to save on the bills :)

The photo is of Louis jumping into the pool. I meant to catch his head but mistimed the shot. I quite like it though.
