Our Town

Our Town is a Newcastle thing - mainly used in advertising material for things Novacastrian. 95mm of rain overnight, seas up, wind blowing a gale. Sound familiar? Then the heavens cleared and the sun came out for a while. I took this at lunch time and thought I would show you what Newcastle downtown looks like. The "family jewels" centre stage is an observation deck but we all refer to it as the "phallus" and I couldn't really call this blip that could I? The red markers are for navigating the ships through the harbour. More weather on the way.....brrrrrrr. Oh and for Wall, here is a daylight look at the Ocean Baths They were closed today because they were under water from high seas.
