The degree to which Lexus, age almost 12, tolerates and even encourages this pup is sweet and astonishing. Abby is trying persistently to get back the chewie that Lex swiped from her. Or which she offered to Lex: I don't exactly know how to interprete that earlier exchange. Trying to actually chew the end sticking out of Lexus's mouth earned Abby a low growl but nothing worse. Lexus doesn't even try to walk away from her. Meanwhile, Mace, who takes less kindly to the pup's pestering, watches from a discreet distance.
