Gateway Arch

After striking out last night when attempting to photograph the Arch (they had turned off the lights), I had much better luck tonight. I would have liked to photographed this about an hour after sunset to capture some deep blue sky, but the timing just didn't work out.

By the time our crew packed up after the seminar, returned to the hotel, debated dining alternatives, chatted up the cute concierge, who then steered us to a BBQ place that had been closed for over a month, I simply ran out of time and light. The good news was that we found a great restaurant, Lucas Park on Washington and 12th, that offered a vast selection of entrees, great quality, and awesome service (ask for Chelle)...

Sometimes you just have to put the camera down and enjoy some good company and conversation...

That Arch ain't going anywhere...
