The Rose

We have a small courtyard garden which suits me having previoiusly felt tied to large gardens ..now I feel able to ramble off and have the pleasure of an outside relaxing space when I want to be home. One of my joys is this very old rose which only blooms high up and probably should be replaced but I love it as I do a favourite song The Rose.

On Saturday we heard it sung by the Dorset Police Male Voice Choir at a concert in Christchurch Priory - I love the Bette Midler version but theirs was beautiful too
