Stroke my wood*

J9 is doing a lot of carving at the moment.

There really is something quite wonderful about watching a big chunk of dead tree, with stumps from old branches, turning into something curvaceous and beautiful. She is tending to carve with quite an open mind and let the natural grain of the wood lead some of the decision making process.

I never cease to be amazed, and filled with admiration, at what she can produce :)
