Ducks
This morning Miss Pink and I went to feed the local ducks, "hello Duck! Would you like bread?" said Miss Pink when we arrived. The swans were very happy to see us, but must have realised that miss Pink wanted to feed the pigeons too, so they sloped off gracefully after two slices of finest wholemeal (soaked in river water of course!) There were ten baby ducklings who came to join in too, much braver than when we were last there two weeks ago, and actually came right up to the edge to get bread. They ranged from still quite yellow and fluffy to slightly larger and mainly brown.
After the ducks we went to the farm shop to see the piggies, "piggies all asleep, hellooooo Piggies!". Miss Pink shoplifted a very cute metal bucket in the farm shop, which mummy then guiltly paid for!
On the way back home we spotted a field full of boy cows, and a handy place to park. So on our farm yard adventures, we stopped off to say hello to the cows. They came and said hello to us too, andI gave them a stroke. Miss Pink wasn't so sure about the cows but said Moo a lot.
Master pink has had a skipping worskshop at school today, so came home with his new skipping rope, and an adult one for me/Mr Pink. I tried a few skips, and decided I probably should try again with shock absorbing trainers on, I don't want to put my back out after all!! ;)
