What a day! It was going so well, so quietly until a last minute consult booked in. A couple were a bit worried about their puppy who had been sick. In she came, wagging her tail, and the slightly embarrassed the owner apologised as she looked much better now she had arrived.....'Happens all the time' I said, 'but we'll check her over all the same.'
Within the hour she had surgery and was back in her bed! She had an intussusception - one of the harder to spell surgical problems of the intestine! - where one piece of intestine had overlapped the next section.

Hopefully I will blip her tomorrow and update you all with good news. In the mean time I need some food, a shower and bed.
