sheer brillance

has it ever occurred to you that there are an enormous number of flowers out there... in the world... in nature? a myriad of varieties - both discovered and yet to be discovered in remote locations? it amazes me... the colors, the shapes, the tones. i never cease to be awed...

so it was with this beauty - the way in which the sunlight was striking it... the many shades of purple giving way to colors of deep blue... the punch of yellow, all feathery against the vein of the petals, set against a back drop of rich green. only a wonderous, creative god could come up with something so magnificent...
