My mums bakestone

After blipping my delicious Welsh cakes 3 ways yesterday I was asked what is a bakestone. So here it is, its a circular cast iron cooking surface, approx 320 mm by 10mm and as you can imagine its rather heavy. As I said yesterday, it is my mums and I do have a habit of borrowing it and not returning it. Dont think you can buy them like this anymore as they seem to be made of steel not cast iron. The originals are full of character and history.
