the fence: stage two

Yesterday was fun.

Among a few other things, Mrs theWeir and I painted the slats that had arrived in the morning. A neighbour and I then started hanging them on the fence. All was going well, until I realised I hadn't bought enough nails. Only enough for 1.5 nails in each slat.

A schoolboy maths error.

However, the slats stayed in place overnight and today I will be mostly finishing the job off. Once the rain passes.
