Dilemma!

My mother-in-law is going to be 80 on Tuesday (can't believe it!) so we took her out for lunch today at Sywell Aerodrome, near her home in Northamptonshire. We thought it would be a) a nice, relaxed meal and b) an interesting place.

It was both, and although it was so windy that there was only one plane out on the airfield, there was a really interesting museum there which had loads of aircraft and military memorabilia which we went around afterwards.

Took loads of pictures but it's so hard to choose just one that I've ended up settling on this, which is part of the gate to the restaurant area. Wish I'd got a shot of my mother-in-law's face when we wound her up that we'd booked her in for a microlight flight, though!
