A gift for a friend.

So, here she is. The finished product. I was quite pleased with her. I feel so much better about an afternoon spent at home when I have something to show for it. It was a real pleasure to give her to my wonderful boss this morning. Giving them away inspires me to make another one.

Unfortunately I didn't get to the concert last night as my mother in law inconveniently(!) fell off a stepladder whilst attempting to clean the top of the fridge. She was doing it because she didn't want the cleaning lady to fall and hurt herself!! My husband had to rush her to hospital for stitches in her arm and a multitude of x-rays. She seems fine now thankfully but I think she had a rather big scare.

My cold is beginning to pass, the children are over the worst but now the cat has a sticky eye and is sneezing. Is it necessary to rush a cat to the vets do you think, or could she get over it naturally, like I always do?!
