Bay of Port Lligat
Back blip
Left Cadaques yesterday after our usual drive round the bay to Port Lligat and to the lighthouse, where we had a simple, but delicious lunch of toasted pan con tomate, pan con tomate with sardines and a rather large slice of typical Spanish tortilla de patatas. It was really wild and windy at the lighthouse - blow-you-off-your-feet windy. I think the tortilla helped keep me grounded. This shot is of the Bay of Port Lligat, taken from Caials. Just out of shot in the bottom left corner of the bay sits Dali's house and studio, which is open to the public for tours. Really couldn't face the unpacking of everything last night, especially when I saw and remembered that we still hadn't quite finished putting everything away from the unpacking of Rio. A busy week ahead and my brother arrives on Friday for a week's visit.
