Scrub Jay at Pt. Reyes

This is the most photogenic scrub jay I've run across in a long time. They are usually really energetic and desert the scene quickly. This one stuck around. These birds are members of the corvid family; they are related to crows, ravens and blue jays (of course.) They are, like their relatives, intelligent, curious and mischevious.
