Lost Art

Mark (my husband) loves to turn pens. This has been his new hobby for a couple months now. Dylan our grandson had asked Mark once before if he could show him how they were made. Mark didn't have pens to make last time so they made light pulls.

The other day Dylan asked Mark (pop pop) if for his birthday they could make a pen together. Mark said yes. Well, today is Dylan's 8th birthday and he reminded Mark about making the pen. Down to the shop they went. I took a bunch of pictures but couldn't put all the steps in. Dylan is absolutely thrilled with his new pen that he and pop pop made together.
