Practice, practice...

Took the opportunity to sit at a nearby horse show, trying to work out my autofocus settings. Doesn't autofocus mean just aim and let the camera take care of it? Not any more apparently; as far as I can see, you have first to decide on one of about twelve combinations. Manual focus would be a lot easier. I think I am getting there though.
