SUNDAY TRIPDAY
because of the hard day's work yesterday we decide to have a day off and to make a trip. Where to? Cor, our friend, wants a view from a mountain, Piet Hein has no particular choice, I do not want to go (too) far away (by car).
I suggest Wülmersen, Wasserschloss, and a walk along a small river Holzape.
So we set off and visit the Wasserschloss, dark skies above and on our walk we go back because of the thunder coming near and rain can start to pour down any moment.
We drive on to Warburg, also very beautiful old town. We pass the Desenberg, this was once a volcano, now there is ruin on top of the hill. The weather is much better and we climb to the top. There is your view, Piet Hein mentions. And it is beautiful with all the different colours of green fields.
From there it is not far to Warburg, but there we only drink our beer and go before the rain home again. A good day's outing! To-morrow hard work again.Photo ofDesenberg The blip is a flower just along the road.
