Marie Curie Wholehog Challenge

This is the second year I have been one of the official photographers for the Marie Curie Wholehog Challenge held at Balfron near Glasgow. Last year, the weather was near perfect with baking sun all day long, this year was a much different story but in many ways added even more to the fun as the runners (and walkers) were caked in mud from the obstacles in the 8 mile route around the scottish hills - fortunately there was a water obstacle towards the end where the competitors get to jump into a freezing river that cleans off any mud.

Marie Curie is a fantastic charity and you'll love the event so look out for the 2012 event and sign-up - you never know you may even be sat on my blip-page this time next year!
