Edge of the storm

We grilled some burgers and ate outside tonight. As we were finishing up a distant rumble began. Very quickly a storm appeared over the trees. The road behind the houswe quickly filled with cars as people abandoned the playing fields up past the trees behind the house. The people must have been amused as they sped away to see a guy setting up a tripod and taking photos of the edge of the storm holding an umbrella over his camera as the rain began. Incidentally I put the umbrella and tripod down and got inside before it actually came over us, no risks of getting fried by lightning were taken!
