Rocket Man

Just spent 2 nights shooting Al Worden, the Apollo 15 CM pilot. we were doing greenscreen, shooting Al with guests and superimposing a lunar scene. Al is a real character, calmly talking about travelling at 24,000 mph recounting details of the mission when he was the human being furthest ever away from the Earth, round the dark side of the moon. Fascinating stuff and a real gentleman, chatting about the "Neyekon" F he used on the mission, with an F1.0 lens and special Kodak iso 5000 film, made specially for the mission. They don't make guys like Al any more.
