Pups in the Wood

They loved the wood. So much to see and get excited about. At one point one went behind a tree and thought it was lost. They especially liked the beech leaves. Its great the way they follow each other until one thinks 'wheres he taking us ..." and three run back leaving the leader plowing on only to discover he's alone lost in a dark wood full of big trees and strange birds. But then turning he sees us about ten metres away and hares back ears akimbo. If he was human he'd be telling us all about the huge monster and the weird old tree that talked....and the leaves that were alive etc
