Al fresco? I don't think so!

One thing I was really looking forward to as part of retirement was the chance to live out of doors in summer, not only when we're in Arran, but at home too.

I bought this little table (It has director chairs too and a parasol.) with the idea of breakfast, lunch and dinner in the garden. In April we managed the last two, but still no luck with al fresco petit dejeuner (how european am I!!!) This morning it looked inviting, but the prospect of munching bran flakes while wearing a fleece just didn't do it for me!

Coffee in M&S at the Gyle made up for indoor cereal!
