Birthday!

Three days in a row in the spotlight so I have decided to break the mould!! No nature or landscape shots today and anyway it is raining outside now and it 's my birthday so you get to have a peek at the gorgeous pressies I got!

I think they express all the things I love most in life. There's a picture of my grandsons that represents family. Two candles are for relaxation and taking time out. The fantstic hand spun and then handwoven scarf made by my ultra creative niece Rosamund tells you what colours I love best. The hank of hand spun wool is for knitting into something wonderful and I love to make things. The beautiful hand painted fishing float ornament represents my love of the sea and painting. Then there is the wildlife magazine and seabird recognition card - well that one is obvious from my blips. The Time out for Women DVD represents my beliefs and spiritual interests. A beautiful necklace and bracelet show that I have not completing given up on how I look!! The Berghaus body warmer shows my love of the outdoors. Two stars and the little dream wall hanging (Dreams are the touchstones of our character) represent my belief that your destiny is not a matter of chance it is a matter of choice. There were some chocolates but I think my grandson has hidden them somewhere as I couldn't find them! They just represent the fact that I like treats!

I have had a wonderful day - early start, pancake making, more worm digging, helping with a beach clean-up and now chilling out before going out for dinner. Aren't birthdays wonderful?
