I am yours

Thanks to J9 we had entry to the opening of the superb new Hepworth Gallery in Wakefield.

Its a stunning building actually built into the weir with a (worryingly) bouncy bridge leading over to it.

Its got a really fascinating collection of Hepworths plaster pieces that were used to cast the large bronzes, J9 got a real buzz from seeing the process as much as the finished pieces. The gallery also has some great pieces from contemporaries of hers and changing exhibitions of modern living artists.

Really looking forward to going back soon when its a bit quieter!
