Heath spotted-orchid

This morning we had the archaeology walk, leading a group around the extensive first world war training trenches (possible subject for a future blip) and looking at the new trench systems that were exposed when a heathland fire last month took away huge stands of gorse opening up new areas for investigation. New grass is already springing up across the burnt areas and a few heath spotted orchids can also be seen.
