The Art of Roasting

I spent about a year and change in Anchorage (two summers and a winter). A place of refuge was Kaladi Brothers Coffee. It was quite the surprise to see this shop here in Denver. I was excited to hear the story as I was wondering if they were shipping roasted beans down from Alaska! An employee told me that the owner did start Kaladi's up in Anchorage, but it got too big (they've expanded into Washington State). He wanted to focus on the art of roasting, so he sold his interests in Alaska, and took the name to Denver to focus on this passion.
