Blood to Bleed

My little bro pretending to wimp out after broomball. We all thought his bleeding bruise was cool. Luckily the refs didn't notice that he was bleeding or he would've gotten benched.

Anyway, Broom of Doom won their second game in the playoffs tonight!!!! I'm glowing. If we win 2 more games we're in the championship!!!

I think this was all made so much sweeter b/c there was dramarama right before the game...ugh. Without notice, our goalie for the entire season decided not to play for basically no reason... and then another player showed up late. At least by some miracle I ended up having my best game of the season be this one... which makes me think that someone needs to piss me off beforehand more often! I scored 2 points at the beginning of the 1st period, but then the other team turned around and scored 2 goals on us before the period was over. Sucks since both our goalies that got scored on weren't used to being goalies. For the 2nd period I agreed to try goalie since we knew I at least wasn't afraid of getting hit... and things went well! I stayed in for the 3rd period and never let one by, thankfully Jake scored for us, and that's all she wrote!!! Yay Broom of Doom!

To top things off, this game took place during the Project Runway season finale... which we've been waiting all season for. I wasn't expecting our #1 and #2 fans to come b/c of that... but they did! They even brought some of the other Runway watchers and friends! Love those kids.
