Opened Poppy!

This is the poppy from a couple days ago that was peeking out and about to make a showing. There are going to be several within the next week so watch opening---delightful. Some years the teenagers pick off the tops I guess because they think they resemble a body part of something. Anyhow this year we will have many:)

Another spectacular sunny Seattle day and as we head into the weekend our household is excited because our DIL--the Goose is coming to visit--she has a conference here next Mon. and Tuesday so Sat. night we feel privileged to break bread with her---going to a favorite vegetarian place of hers! I'll have to go tell Cowboy and Sadie and Pooters to clean up their acts a bit!
