The Way I See It. . .

Rest In Peace

Tonight my family and I prayed the rosary for my Lola (grandma in tagalog). I must admit that I haven't prayed it in a long time. When we started praying, I got distracted and just started to think about Nanay Coring ( I would call her that)...I never got to know her. She lived in the Philippines with my Uncle and Auntie, and my dad and his brother moved to California. As I started thinking, I started crying so much. I really wish I did get to know her. I only have few memories of her when I was a child and visited her in the Philippines.

Then I realized something tonight..people come and go, but sometimes you forget about them. In our prayer we named several relatives that have passed on, like my Grandpa's and Auntie...I haven't thought about them in a while. Is that bad? Why do we sometimes forget?

Anyways, I'm still lucky to have one more Lola alive. When she comes back I want to spend a lot of time with her..I do miss her. We need to appreciate who is in our lives..cause "you don't know whatcha got 'til its gone..."

As for you Nanay Coring...es por eso que debo decir que ud. solo en mis fotos... and...
Mahal Kita Nanay....(I love you..)
