Bands

Tonight there was a band parade where I live which came up past my house. It would have been ok if I didn't have to revise.
This is Shankill Protestant Boys. I think it's the biggest flute band in NI. I'm not sure. There's a waiting list to join though. Anyway, they create havoc wherever they go.

Excitement after the parade though. All the spides came to fight each other so the peelers stepped in. 2 Minibuses filled with the PSNI's 'finest' were sent. We also had riot police for a while. Though I didn't want to take photos then because I was too busy hiding.

It's our culture so it is.
