Colditz.

A view from Stirling Golf course towards Stirling Castle this afternoon. We were very lucky with the sunshine and avoided the rain showers that dropped all around us.

The wind was very strong though and that affects my golf and my face. Sitting in the house now and my head looks like a beetroot on a stick!

Anyway, I hope I am not wrong with this 'fact' but I believe the TV programme Colditz, now being repeated, was filmed in Stirling Castle.

I visited it years ago and remember it as a decent castle and better than some others in Scotland. The Wallace monument is also very close by and it us definitely worth a visit, if you are okay with a squillion steps to the top.
