Towel Sculptures

Today's image was going to be another cool surfing shot like my post on 8 April. I walked the trail to Las Gatas in the early evening and shot for about an hour before walking back to Playa La Ropa. On my return, a group of four young men decided they needed my mochila (backpack), containing my Canon 40D, more than I did. Four against one are poor odds so I quickly gave them everything, including all those great surfing photos I had just taken and not yet had the chance to download. That left me with this photo of the towel sculptures our maid makes each week which I had taken earlier with my point and shoot Canon D10, which will now be the only camera producing images for for this blog.
