Egg-heads

Our final Enterprise activity this week was The Great Egg Race. The challenge was to design and make a protective holder for an egg, to save it from disaster when dropped from a ladder. They were given a nominal £20, but could only use the exhorbitantly priced materials that they had to 'buy' from our 'shop'.

After testing with a 100g weight, the initial products were refined and reconstructed. Then the egg-heads were handed out and the real fun began.

Out of 13, only two were smashed upon impact.
