Green cricket
Morning at work trying to catch up after yesterday's training.
Off at lunchtime as had Governor's panel to attend this afternoon. Always sad occasions - this was the first one I'd chaired.
Home earlier than usual so chance to scan the garden in search of photos. Lots of bees around on blip today so decided to go with this nymph of a cricket instead - think it might be a speckled bush cricket - he certainly conforms to the speckled bit of the name. He was hiding in the new wisteria leaves. Our kitchen walls are bright green and we often get these wandering in from the garden in the summer. They are tricky to spot as they match the green so well (just like the boys' stick insect pets from a few years back....but that's another story...)
Tired now and not sure I'm feeling much like a Friday night trip to the gym. Seems to have been a long week.
Another maths exam done for son number 2 - more torture next week......
