Looks summery in the light, but by golly its not. Clear blue skies, no wind or breeze and lots of sunshine but the air was cold.
I pottered in the garden, did some house jobs and some errands up the street.
It was nice working in the sun but not so pleasant in the shade. Visitors to the garden were sparrows, blackbirds and also two little fantails flitting from tree to tree, I did enjoy their company.
We've had several phone calls from Daughter A who isn't very well. Shes taken herself off to the doctor and is now on antibotics for a very sore throat. Could be strep throat or glandular fever - oh dear, we are really hoping its not glandular fever. She is wanting some comforts of home and is now on the train to stay with Hubby's parents - they'll give her good food, she'll sleep well and get some rest. We'll see what next week brings.
I am thrilled to received so many lovely comments, stars and favourites for yesterdays sunrise, thank you - it seems you all like the idea of me peeping over the sand dune and I must say it was warmer there to.
Our weekend is here and its time to draw the curtains, put another log on the fire and get busy in the kitchen. Have a great weekend :))
