The Magnolia Grows Up...

I don't know if anyone remembers my southern magnolia flower bud I blipped about a month ago. I had checked on the blooms last week and knew they were beginning to get serious about opening up. They are about a week away now from becoming flowers. The outer furry covering that was photographed before, is way too little for the flower. They are almost grown ups...

A bright note, the sun finally broke through the clouds this evening and I actually saw blue skies... happy..
