The Wee Toad

The rain came down in buckets last night, heavy,heavy rain! In the spring and summer,this brings out the toads and frogs! So this morning when I opened the front door there was a small toadlet hiding behind the broom! I have since learned that the females have a rust colour and the males are more green in colour! This was a little girl toad! They are great for the garden as they eat a lot of bad bugs. I just have to keep them away from the bird feeder as the birds might like a small snack!
